The problem
The list is never finished when the invitations go out.
Four days before the event, the client sends three more names. Then a partner forwards a list of twenty, half of whom are already invited under slightly different spellings.
Sending to everyone again is embarrassing. Adding names by hand means checking each one against hundreds of guests, and the cost of a mistake is a guest who receives the invitation twice — or not at all.

A late list meets the event. Names that match — on address, on number, on a similar name at the same company — are left exactly as they were. The rest are the only ones anything happens to.

How it works
How late guests join an event
- 01
Bring the new names
Add one person, type in several, paste a list, or attach one of your saved lists.

Each name is matched
Against every guest already on the event — by email, phone, reference or list membership, and by likely matches such as a similar name at the same company or an address one typo away.
- 03
Review the decision for each
New, already invited, needs review, or blocked — with the reason: no way to reach them, a duplicate within the new names, the guest limit, or an event that is closed.
- 04
Commit only the new
Select what to add, correct what needs it, and commit. Guests already on the event are never changed.

Invite only the new guests
The new guests are prepared for invitation and sent to in a batch of their own. Nobody already invited is written to again.

- A blocked name says why: no contact detail, a duplicate in the same run, the plan’s guest limit, or an event that is closed or cancelled.

- Replies, plus-ones and entry codes of guests already invited stay exactly as they are.
- Review before commit
- Select, select all, correct and refresh before anything is added. A run can also be discarded.
- A send of their own
- Late guests receive their invitation in a separate batch, recorded message by message like every other.

Questions
What if a late guest is already invited under a different address?
Likely matches — a similar name at the same company, the same phone number — are marked for review rather than added, so the decision is yours.
Does adding guests send anything by itself?
No. Adding and sending are separate steps. New guests are prepared, and their invitations leave when you send them.
Is there a limit to how many I can add?
The event’s guest limit applies. Names beyond it are shown as blocked, with that reason, rather than silently dropped.
Can guests be added at the door instead?
Yes — staff allowed to do so can add a walk-in at the door. This is for everyone you know about before then.
