Winglark

Winglark Wings · the partner programme

Earn your Wings.

Hard admission. Published terms. One level.

For people who have sold events, run them and stood at their doors. Bring customers to Winglark, or run their event nights — and be paid on terms anyone can read.

  • No fee to join
  • No target, no quota
  • Renewed every year
The Winglark Wings pin: enamel wings in pine green and gold around the Winglark mark, worn on a jacket lapel.
The pin is worn in front of every customer. A card in the pocket proves it is real.

Two ways to work

Bring the customer, or run the night.

A Wings partner may do one or both. Each is paid on its own line of the terms; neither depends on anyone else.

Sales partner

You bring organisers, venues and agencies to Winglark, and stay their person when they have a question.

What you do

  • Show Winglark to people you already work with, on their own events
  • Give them your code: their first year costs 10% less
  • Help them set up the first event properly, so it works on the night

Who it suits

Planners, venue managers, agency people and suppliers whose customers already ask them how to run the guest side.

Wings Crew

You run an organiser’s event night for them — remotely from the Event Control Room, or at the venue.

What you do

  • Check the list, the invitations and the door before the day
  • Run the door and the room on the night, and solve what goes wrong
  • Hand the event back closed: the report done, your access ended

Who it suits

Event managers, door and registration leads, production people — anyone who has stood at a door with a queue and kept it moving.

The terms, in full

Every number, published. Nothing deducted that is not written here.

This table is the same one your ledger and your payouts are calculated from. When it changes, it changes here first, for everyone.

What you earn is the sum of what you do. We publish no estimates.

One level: no one earns from another partner’s customers, and there is no fee for recruiting partners.

The terms, worked through

Arithmetic, not a promise: each line below is the table applied to one customer or one night.

  1. One customer on Professional, paid yearly

    Professional, one year
    $990
    With your code, less 10%
    $891
Year one, 50% of $990 to you
    $495
Each later year, 15% of $990
    $148.50
  2. A 6-hour remote night

    6 hours × $90
    $540
    You keep 60%
    $324
  3. A 5-hour night at the venue

    5 hours × $150
    $750
    You keep 70%
    $525

plus your travel, paid on top

  4. A 2-hour remote night

    4 hours × $90billed at the 4-hour minimum
    $360
    You keep 60%
    $216

These are examples of the arithmetic. They say nothing about how many customers or nights anyone will have.

Payouts start when Winglark takes customer payments. Until then there are no customer payments, and so no commission to pay.

Hard to earn, on purpose

A customer who meets a Wings partner should meet someone who knows.

So the way in is long, and the same for everyone. Most of it is learning the product properly; all of it is checked.

  1. Apply

At least 3 years of selling or running events, a portfolio in your own words, and 2 references who have worked with you.

  2. A 30-minute interview

A conversation with the Winglark team about the events you have done and the ones you want to do.

  3. Winglark Academy

8 modules, each one a part of a real event, learned on a workspace of your own:

    1. The guest list: importing, cleaning, segments
    2. The invitation: design and sending
    3. Replies, reminders and late additions
    4. The door: QR check-in, several doors, walk-ins
    5. Seating plans and name badges
    6. The live evening: the guest page, polls, the Event Control Room
    7. The event website and open registration
    8. Integrations, and the report afterwards
  4. The exam

    Two parts, both required.

    1. 40 written questions. The pass mark is 80%.
    2. A practical: you run a test event from end to end — the list, the invitations, the registration page and a door with 20 test guests — while problems are staged for you to solve.
  5. 90 days of probation

Your first customers and nights, with the team close by. You are a partner; the team watches how the work goes.

  6. Your Wings

The pin and the card arrive, and your name goes live on the verification page. The Wings are renewed every year.

Three tiers, earned in the work

The terms are the same at every tier. A tier says how much this partner has done, and which work they are trusted with.

  1. WingsCertified. Has passed the exam and the probation, and works on the full terms.
  2. Silver WingsA strong first year, judged on how the customers and the nights went.
  3. Gold WingsSenior crew. Trusted with high-end corporate work: large doors, several rooms, demanding clients.

Wear them

The Wings are worn, visibly, in front of every customer.

An enamel pin on the lapel and a credential card on the lanyard. Wearing them is part of the code: a customer should never have to wonder who they are talking to.

The Wings kit on paper: the enamel wings pin, the green credential card printed with a partner’s name and number, its back with a QR code and the contactless mark, and a green lanyard.
The pin

The card
Your name and partner number on the front; a QR code and an NFC chip on the back.
At an evening event, a guest holds up a phone showing a green tick and a partner’s photograph, beside the partner’s green Winglark Wings card and pin.

Tap or scan to verify

Anyone can check a partner in a second, with their own phone and no app.

  1. Tap the card, or scan its codeThe phone opens winglark.com/verify and the partner’s number.
  2. The page checks, liveWhether this person is an active Wings partner right now — not when the card was printed.
  3. It shows what it foundThe name, the photograph, the tier, the date the Wings run to, and the exact time of the check.

For organisers: Wings Crew

Someone who knows Winglark, running your night.

Book a Wings partner to run the event for you — from the Event Control Room, wherever they are, or at your door. You pay by the hour; most of it goes to the person who does the work.

What a crew partner does on the night

The door
Checks guests in, handles walk-ins and the names that are not on the list, keeps the queue moving.
The room
Watches the evening from the Event Control Room: arrivals, the guest page, what is about to start.
The problems
A wrong table, a lost invitation, a printer that stops: solved before they reach you.
Limited access, closed after the event

A crew partner gets the access the night needs and no more, for a set time. It closes when the event is over. Your list stays yours.

Where it standsToday, crew work is arranged with the Winglark team. Booking it from inside your event comes later; partners take crew work as it opens.Ask about crew for an event

What we hold to

A door that opens for people who want to work.

Transparent
The terms are on this page, for partners and customers alike. Your ledger reads from the same table.
No income claims
We will never tell you what you will earn. What you do is yours, and so is what it pays.
One level
Nobody earns from another partner. Nobody pays to join, and nobody is paid to recruit.
People first
Some of this we may never earn from. It is here so that people who know events can build their work on Winglark, like family.

Code of conduct

Six rules. Breaking one ends the Wings.

Short, so everyone can keep them.

  1. No spamYou reach people you know, or who asked. No bought lists, no mass messages.
  2. No false promisesYou say what Winglark does today — never a feature that is not there, never a result for a customer.
  3. Customer data stays in WinglarkGuest lists and contacts are never copied out, kept or used for anything else.
  4. Wear the WingsPin and card, visibly, whenever you work with a customer.
  5. One level, alwaysYou do not recruit partners for money, or promise anyone an income.
  6. Renew every yearThe Wings run for a year at a time and are renewed; out-of-date Wings show as not active.

A rule broken ends the Wings, and the verification page says so from that moment.

Questions people ask before they apply

Do I pay anything to join?

No. There is no fee to apply, to take the academy or the exam, or for the pin and the card.

Can I be a partner in any country?

Yes — you apply from wherever you work, and customers can be anywhere Winglark is used. Payouts start when Winglark takes customer payments; until then there are no customer payments and so no commission.

Do I need to be a company?

No. You can apply as a person or as a company. How you are paid, and the tax details we need, depend on your country; we settle them with you before your first payout.

What happens if a customer I brought leaves?

The 15% stops when their payments stop. If a customer is refunded within 60 days, the commission on that payment goes back with the refund.

Do I earn anything from partners I bring in?

No. There is one level: you earn from your own customers and your own crew nights, never from another partner’s, and there is no fee or bonus for recruiting.

How hard is the exam?

Hard enough to mean something. 40 written questions with a pass mark of 80%, then a practical: a test event run end to end, with a door of 20 test guests and problems staged for you to solve.

Can I do both roles?

Yes. Tick both on the form. The way in is the same; you can do sales and crew work side by side.

What if I fail?

You can take the exam again after 30 days. We tell you which parts to work on.

Is there a target or a quota?

No. There is no target, no quota and no minimum. The Wings are renewed every year; breaking the code of conduct ends them.

How long does admission take?

It depends on how fast you go through the academy. The interview takes 30 minutes, and the probation after the exam 90 days.
