Careers at Winglark

Bring better evenings to your city

Winglark runs an event from the first guest list to the last follow-up. We are looking for the people who will explain it to event agencies and large venues, and teach their teams to use it — remotely, and in person in the cities where events happen.

  • Hybrid, from anywhere
  • One person per city to begin
  • Your country’s language and flawless English

Where we start, and where we go next

Five cities first, one person in each to begin with. A city gets its second person when its events ask for one — we grow evenly, not in one place at a time.

Europe’s capitals

Anywhere, remotely

Remote Product Trainer

Two kinds of work, one evening

In every city, one person opens the relationship and another stays for the first event. Both know the product well enough to show it live.

In the empty foyer of a convention centre, a partnerships manager shows the venue’s events director a seating plan and a guest list on a tablet.

Partnerships

You find the agencies, convention centres, hotels and venues that run events in your city, show them Winglark on their own kind of evening, and agree how they will use it. You own the relationship from the first call to the signature, and you stay close after it.

At the entrance of a venue before doors open, a trainer shows the door staff how to scan a guest’s phone with their own phones.

Training

You teach a new customer’s team to run their events on Winglark: the list, the invitation, the replies, the door and the report. Some of it on a screen, some of it in the venue an hour before doors open, standing beside the door team on their first night.

Open roles

Four roles in two families. If none of them is yours but you would build Winglark in your city, send a general application.

How we work

The terms, said plainly before you apply.

Hybrid
You work from home and from your city. Partnerships and city trainers spend part of every week with customers, at venues and at the industry’s own events.
Your language and flawless English
You speak the language of the country you apply from as a native or near-native speaker, and your English is flawless, spoken and written. Our team, our documents and many customers work in English.
One per city, then evenly
Each city starts with one person per role. We add the second when that city’s events call for it, and we keep the cities growing together.
Pay
Partnerships roles are paid a fixed salary plus commission. Trainers are paid a fixed salary. The figures depend on the city and are set out in the first conversation.
Hours
Partnerships roles are full time. Trainer roles are full time, or part time where a city’s volume calls for it — the posting and the conversation say which.
The product is the tool
You run your own demonstrations in Winglark, with real events built for the purpose. You are trained on it before your first customer and you hear about every change before it reaches them.

What happens after you apply

Four steps, each one answered. If it is a no, we say so.

  1. We read it

A person reads every application, the CV and the letter together. If the role is not the right one for you, we tell you, and say if another one is.

  2. A first conversation

Thirty minutes on a video call, partly in English and partly in your country’s language: you, the role, the city, the terms.

  3. A real situation

Partnerships candidates take a first meeting with an event agency, played by us. Trainers teach us one part of Winglark, as they would teach a door team. You get the material a few days before.

  4. The founder, and an offer

A last conversation with the founder about how you would build the city. Then a written offer, or a clear answer.

Apply

Questions candidates ask

Can I apply from a city that is not on the map?

Yes. Choose “Another city” and say where you are. The roles on the map are where we start; a strong candidate elsewhere can be where we go next.

Do I need experience in events?

For partnerships, yes — you know how agencies and venues in your city work, and who decides. For trainers, experience running events or teaching software to teams counts equally.

Do I have to be allowed to work in the country I apply from?

Yes, for the city roles. Tell us in the form if you would need sponsorship; we say honestly whether we can offer it for that country.

Which language do we speak in the interviews?

Both: part of the first conversation is in English and part in the language of your country.

What happens to my CV?

It is kept privately, read only by the people hiring, and deleted with your application after twelve months unless you are still in process with us. Ask us at any time to delete it sooner.

Can I apply for more than one role?

Apply for the one that fits best and mention the other in your letter. We will consider you for both.
