Event Passport
Turn the venue into a journey.
Name the places worth visiting, print a code for each, and guests collect them in their Companion. You see which places drew people — with real counts, not an engagement score.
- QR codes at each place
- Every place counts once
- An optional reward
Illustrative event and people. The phones on this page run the real Companion.

Places, not points
Main stage. Workshop. Gallery. The lounge. The sponsor’s stand.
Up to thirty places, each with its own code to print and hang there. Pause a place, replace its code, change the order — the journey follows the event as it changes.
- One code per place
- Unguessable and tied to that place of that event. A code from another event never counts here.
- Replace a code in one action
- If a poster is copied or moved, the old code stops at once.
- Designed for the door
- A round seal that sits well on oak, glass or concrete — a mark guests look for.
Try it
Scan, tick, keep walking.
Guests scan a place’s code with their phone camera; it opens their passport and adds the place. Here you can tap “Scan here” to see what they see.

An optional reward
Visit five places. Collect a signed print.
Decide how many places earn it. When a guest gets there, their phone shows a six-character code; the desk checks it and marks it handed over — once.
- Eligibility, not a shop
- Winglark records who earned it. The reward itself is yours to hand over.
- Checked at the desk
- Staff type the code: real or not, collected or not. It names nobody.
- Once per guest
- A code is marked handed over a single time.
For the organiser
Which places drew people, while it happens.
Who is taking part, how many completed, the completion rate and visits by place — in the event and in your Event Control Room. Counts from scans, nothing estimated.

Visits by place
Explicit by design
A visit is a scan. Nothing else is tracked.
There is no location reading, no Bluetooth, nothing in the background. A visit exists only because somebody scanned a code that was physically there.
- Only explicit scans
- No hidden tracking of where a phone goes.
- Totals for the organiser
- Visits by place and completions — never one guest’s route.
- Counting that cannot be inflated
- A place counts once per guest, and scanning faster than anyone can walk is slowed.
- Nothing public
- Progress lives on the guest’s phone and in your totals; it is shown to nobody else.

Questions
Do guests need an app?
No. The code opens their event page in the browser and adds the place.
Can someone collect places without being there?
Each place counts once, scans are slowed when they come too fast, and a copied code can be replaced in one action. A visit always needs the code that hangs at the place.
Does the organiser see where I went?
No. The organiser sees totals by place and how many completed — not anyone’s route.
Is the reward handled by Winglark?
Winglark records who is eligible and gives them a code. Handing the reward over is the organiser’s.
What if a place closes during the event?
Pause it: it leaves the journey, and nobody’s progress is lost.
Give people a reason to see the whole venue.
Name the places, print the codes, open the journey.
