The same work as a city partnerships manager, a step earlier. You live in one of Europe’s capitals, open its first conversations with agencies and venues, and travel to the next capital when they are ready. When a city grows enough for its own team, you help hire it.

What you will do

  • Open the first relationships with the agencies, venues and corporate event teams of your capital.
  • Travel to neighbouring capitals for meetings, industry events and demonstrations.
  • Run demonstrations on the customer’s own kind of evening, and agree the plan and the start.
  • Work with the remote trainers so that every new customer’s first event goes well.
  • Report what each city needs, and say when it is ready for its own people.

Your first three months

  1. Weeks 1–4

Learn Winglark end to end and run your own event on it. Map your capital and one more.

  2. Weeks 5–8

First meetings and demonstrations in your capital; a first trip to the second city.

  3. Weeks 9–12

First agreements, and a written plan for the next two capitals.

Who you work with

  • Agency founders and producers
  • Venue and hotel event directors
  • Association and congress organisers
  • The remote trainers, and the founder

What we are looking for

  • At least four years of selling to, or working in, the events industry.
  • Native or near-native command of your country’s language, and flawless English, spoken and written.
  • Living in one of Europe’s capitals, and readiness to travel within Europe for part of most months.
  • The right to work in the country you apply from.
  • The independence to open a market without a team around you yet.

What makes it even better

  • A third European language.
  • Experience with associations, congresses or trade fairs.
  • Experience selling software to agencies or venues.

The terms

Hybrid
You work from home and from your city. Partnerships and city trainers spend part of every week with customers, at venues and at the industry’s own events.
Your language and flawless English
You speak the language of the country you apply from as a native or near-native speaker, and your English is flawless, spoken and written. Our team, our documents and many customers work in English.
One per city, then evenly
Each city starts with one person per role. We add the second when that city’s events call for it, and we keep the cities growing together.
Pay
Partnerships roles are paid a fixed salary plus commission. Trainers are paid a fixed salary. The figures depend on the city and are set out in the first conversation.
Hours
Partnerships roles are full time. Trainer roles are full time, or part time where a city’s volume calls for it — the posting and the conversation say which.
The product is the tool
You run your own demonstrations in Winglark, with real events built for the purpose. You are trained on it before your first customer and you hear about every change before it reaches them.
