When a customer signs, you are the person who makes the first event go well. You teach the organiser’s team on site: the list, the invitation, the replies, the live screens. An hour before doors open, you rehearse the door with the staff who will scan the passes, and you stand beside them when the first guests arrive.
What you will do
- Run training sessions at the customer’s office or venue, for organisers, hosts and door teams.
- Rehearse the door with GatePass before every first event: devices, lists, the guests who are not on them.
- Set up the live screens and stay for the first evening.
- Turn the questions you hear into short guides in your language.
- Work with your city’s partnerships manager from the first demonstration onwards.
Your first three months
- Weeks 1–4
Learn every part of Winglark until you can teach it without notes; run your own event on it.
- Weeks 5–8
Co-teach with an experienced trainer, then lead your own first sessions.
- Weeks 9–12
Your first customer events from first session to the evening itself, on your own.
Who you work with
- Organisers and their teams
- Door staff and hosts
- Venue technical teams
- Your city’s partnerships manager
What we are looking for
- At least two years of experience running events, working at venues, or teaching software to teams.
- Native or near-native command of your country’s language, and flawless English, spoken and written.
- Calm under pressure: the door opens at seven whether or not the scanner works.
- Comfort with phones, laptops and screens, and the patience to teach them to anyone.
- Evening and weekend availability around customers’ events.
- The right to work in the country you apply from, living in or near the city.
What makes it even better
- Experience with check-in, ticketing or registration systems.
- A third language.
- Training or teaching experience with adults.
The terms
- Hybrid
- You work from home and from your city. Partnerships and city trainers spend part of every week with customers, at venues and at the industry’s own events.
- Your language and flawless English
- You speak the language of the country you apply from as a native or near-native speaker, and your English is flawless, spoken and written. Our team, our documents and many customers work in English.
- One per city, then evenly
- Each city starts with one person per role. We add the second when that city’s events call for it, and we keep the cities growing together.
- Pay
- Partnerships roles are paid a fixed salary plus commission. Trainers are paid a fixed salary. The figures depend on the city and are set out in the first conversation.
- Hours
- Partnerships roles are full time. Trainer roles are full time, or part time where a city’s volume calls for it — the posting and the conversation say which.
- The product is the tool
- You run your own demonstrations in Winglark, with real events built for the purpose. You are trained on it before your first customer and you hear about every change before it reaches them.
